A Southern favorite, with sharp, pungent flavor and aroma—try steamed, sautéed, or added to soups. Easy and fast in the North, too. Great source of calcium and iron.
Companion plants: Dill, Fennel, Yarrow, Mint, Corn, Peas, Mint, Rosemary, Thyme, Beets, Celery, Carrot, Lettuce, Onion, Cucumber. 
Far from: Sunflower, Beans, Strawberry, Turnip, Notweed.
Planting tip: Direct seed as soon as the soil can be worked. Harvest leaves as desired.Soaking in warm water for up to 12H is recommended for improved germination.
Harvesting tip: Harvest when leaves are 3” tall by cutting 1” from the ground.
Storage tip: Can be stored in sand in a root cellar at about 1-2°C.

Un favori du Sud, avec une saveur et un arôme piquants – essayez-la à la vapeur, sautée, ou ajoutée aux soupes. Facile et rapide dans le Nord, aussi. Excellente source de calcium et de fer.
Plantes compagnes: Aneth, fenouil, achillée, menthe, maïs, pois, menthe, romarin, thym, betterave, céleri, carotte, laitue, oignon, concombre.
Loin de: Tournesol, haricots, fraise, navet, renouée.
Ensemencement: Le trempage dans l’eau chaude pendant 12H maximum est recommandé pour améliorer la germination. Semer directement dès que le sol peut être travaillé. Récolter les feuilles à volonté.
Récolte: Récolter lorsque les feuilles ont 3″ de hauteur en les coupant à 1″ du sol.
Entreposage: Peut être conservé dans du sable dans une cave à racines à environ 1-2°C.
