Strong 2’ tall stems. Flowers are doubled ruffled of deepest purple color, almost black looking from far.
Planting tip: Seed stratification is required for 2 weeks. Poppies are started outdoors in early spring even when there is still a chance of frost. Transplant not recommended.

Tiges fortes de 2′ de haut. Les fleurs sont doublement ébouriffées de la couleur pourpre la plus profonde, presque noir regardant de loin.
Ensemencement: La stratification des semences est nécessaire pendant 2 sem.. Les coquelicots sont commencés à l’extérieur au début du printemps même quand il y a encore une chance de gel. La transplantation n’est pas recommandée.
